Basically an Alumnus of COEP (1974) and IIM - Bangalore (1977), excels in Marketing, Finance and Systems.

He has worked in corporate sector for 15 years (1978- 1992) and started his own ventures in the year in 1992, almost 27 years in business. 

​

He has rich Industrial experience in Marketing, Manufacturing, Operations, Cost effective business Strategies, setting up of Greenfield projects, Consulting, Mentoring and advising MSME sectors on Business Development. He has been instrumental in Establishing Markets and manufacturing Facilities in India for his overseas principals.

Shailendra has been instrumental in helping MSMEs in setting up Joint Ventures in India by collaborating with overseas technology companies. He has been helping MSMEs on Business strategies, creating profitable Business Models, Finding partners for Technology Upgradation and installing Productivity Improvement Measures.

City Of Yokohama has signed an MOU with his Group for promoting Indo-Japan ties for MSMEs in India. This includes Manufacturing Industries, IT companies and Companies offering Engineering Services. Indian skills in ERPs, AI, IOT and Machine Learning are being actively promoted overseas under this MOU.

His has also signed MOUs with companies in Israel for promoting Advance Technologies from Israel for the Manufacturing Industries, Agriculture Farming and Dairy Processing Plants.

He has been helping the Indian industry in creating Export opportunities for products and services through his network in 16 Countries. 

 

Shailendra is a professional speaker and has spoken on  various topics including, Corporate Governance, Ethical Business Practices, Labour Laws , Management Strategies in Recession, Productive Employees Creation, Entrepreneurship, MIS for Top Management, Leadership Styles , International Trade etc. He was invited as a Speaker /Panelist at the Horasis Global India meet, in Malaga, Spain  to speak on “Make In India“ and in Segovia, Spain on “ Innovation “.

He has been a Convener ,speaker and Panelist , for various Panel Discussions on , HR – As a Profit Centre , Automotive Electronics – Challenges & Opportunities, Challenges & Opportunities for MSMEs in India, Making Pune, India as an Investment Capital, Irritants of Labour and Industrial Legislations, Inspiring Change through Leadership, How To Grow From Small to Medium and Medium to Large Enterprise , Future of Global Resilience , Organisational  Behaviour etc.

His Contribution to the Academic world has been phenomenal and he has guided and Mentored thousands of students so far in Career Building, Understanding the Corporate world , Expectations of the corporates from Young Aspirants, Effective communication, Start Ups – Do’s and Don’ts  etc.

He has been on the Corporate Advisory Boards, Board of studies, Academic councils of Many Management Institutes and Engineering Colleges, Guiding them on Syllabus, Curriculum, Industry – Academia Interface, Upgradation and keeping pace with Technology for education etc.

He is also a Member, Advisory Board on a Manufacturing company and an IT company, Helping devise Strategies for Growth, Diversification, and Operations and setting up Joint ventures/Technical Alliances with Overseas Technology Companies.

Recently He established Europe India IT Hub with Bases in Barcelona and Zurich to promote IT Services in Europe.

He had been the member of the Executive Committees of MCCIA and Indo Japanese Business Council and steered Auto Component Committee as its Chairman.
